The CIPD Leadership and Management programme forms part of the practitioner level standards of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. It is one of the stages that must be completed to be awarded graduate membership of CIPD. Successful completion of this stage will lead to Licentiate membership of CIPD.
The programme is aimed at both those who wish to pursue a career in human resource management and present HR practitioners who wish to progress in their chosen career. It aims to develop the practitioner as a ‘thinking performer’, developing the necessary skills and knowledge in the individual, to do so.
The CIPD Leadership & Management Award is both a stand alone qualification and one of the three fields of study in which those wishing to gain Graduate Membership of CIPD must qualify.
The programme has four modules covering:-

36 weeks, 6 hours per week
Thur 1.00pm-8.00pm (plus 20 hrs residential study)

Five GCSE/GCE passes, two of which must be at advanced level, or Certificate in Personnel Practice/Certificate in Training Practice, at least merit grade, or equivalent qualification. Plus interview with course leader
CIPD Leadership & Management Award, to include licentiate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
MA in Human Resource Management, including graduate membership of CIPD, MSC in Management Studies.
