This Programme is delivered in the workplace on an individual and/or group basis. The course can be started at any time in the year and lasts approximately 16 weeks. The course is designed to assist learners in gaining an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of manual cleaning and is suitable for anyone who manually cleans building interiors on a daily basis.
The programme consists of the following 6 mandatory units:
All six units are assessed by building a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates knowledge & understanding and practical competence in a relevant job role. All evidence will be judged by an assessor provided by the college.
To be accepted onto the course potential learners must work in a relevant job role. The manager of the workplace must also agree that the assessor can access the workplace to observe the learner in practice and meet to plan and review evidence.

If a learner is over 19, and not in receipt of certain benefits (see Fees and Funding) then a fee may be payable. If a learner has not been resident in the EU for the 3 years prior to the commencement of their course, then a fee may be payable.
