Intermediate Construction Award Trowel Occupations

A practical programme of activity with assessment in Trowel Occupation units. This award is directly related to NVQ Level 2 Trowel Occupations and is the technical certificate within a foundation apprenticeship programme.

1 Year

Entry Requirements:

Successful interview, references and /or Foundation Construction Award

Units of training:

• Store materials and equipment
• Erect and dismantle basic working platforms
• Set out basic building
• Construct walling detail
• Signalling for the movement of loads

Progression route:

• NVQ Level 2 Trowel Occupations
• Advanced Construction Award Trowel Occupations

Inclusive Fee:

If a learner is over 19, and not in receipt of certain benefits (see Fees and Funding) then a fee may be payable. If a learner has not been resident in the EU for the 3 years prior to the commencement of their course, then a fee may be payable.
