Edexcel Advanced Practitioner in Working with Children and Families

The course is aimed at experienced practitioners who want to gain a Level 4 qualification in the Children’s Workforce.

The units provide a specialist work-related programme of study and the Management Pathway offers a progression route for those working in the Children’s Workforce.

You will learn how to be a reflective practitioner and develop specialist knowledge through the choice of specialist units. e.g.

Each module will be assessed by assignment.

  • Working with Children & Families
  • Early Years Research & Project

To undertake any of our part-time childcare programmes, learners must already work in a suitable setting or be able to organise their own work placement(s)

Entry:

You will need to have an appropriate Level 3 qualification
e.g. NVQ 3, BTEC National Certificate or Diploma, CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or AVCE/Advanced GNVQ

Qualification:

BTEC Higher National Certificate in Advanced Practice in Workwith Children & Families. Validated by University of Teesside
