Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (70-271-70-272)

The MCDST certification is designed for anyone interested in starting a career as an IT support professional. Achieving MCDST demonstrates that you have gained the core knowledge necessary to troubleshoot desktop hardware and operating system problems as well as problems faced by end users.

To gain this certification candidates must pass two multiple choice exams using our online testing facility. The two exams are:

  1. 70-291 Supporting Users & Troubleshooting A Microsoft Windows XP Operating System
  2. 70-292 Supporting Users & Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System

An upgrade path to Windows Vista will also be available in the future.
